Homemade Blueberry Cobbler by PaperCharm Designs

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the blog today!  I am excited to share this delightful Homemade Blueberry Cobbler recipe with you!  It has quickly become my go-to dessert for entertaining and a favorite among my family.  Whether you are looking for something to make for a crowd that won't keep you in the kitchen all day, or perhaps you need to use the bounty of blueberries you have picked this summer, this recipe is perfect for you!

Preheat oven to 350°F.  You need a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish; no special prep is needed for dish.

Part 1:  Prepare the Fruit Mixture

4 C. fresh blueberries
1/2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon (a dash extra if you wish)
3/4 C. milk

Instructions:
Pour fresh blueberries into baking dish.  Pour sugar and ground cinnamon on top of the blueberries. Stir gently until the blueberries are coated well in the sugar and cinnamon. Spread coated blueberries out in the bottom of the baking dish.  Pour milk evenly over the blueberries.

Part 2:  Prepare Topping

2 C. all purpose flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
1 TBSP. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

2 sticks of melted unsalted butter

Instructions:
In a medium to large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  Wisk together well.  Pour evenly over Fruit Mixture.  Do NOT mix, but do gently flatten any large mounds of topping mixture. Drizzle melted butter all over the topping.

Bake cobbler in preheated oven at 350°F for 1 hour, or until topping has moistened and turned a deep golden brown.

Carefully remove from oven.  Let cool on wire rack.  Serve warm or chilled.  Top with vanilla ice cream if you wish, or serve with a hot cup of coffee.

Enjoy!

Shelley
